Payentry NextGen Version 1.42 Release Notes

The current release, scheduled for March 12th at 11:00pm eastern, includes the changes outlined below. In addition to the development tags, this release will also update the underlying version of M3 to 3.29.190.2935.

Upgrade to ASP.NET Core 10 (PENG-318)

 

The NextGen framework has been upgraded to ASP.NET Core version 10. This upgrade represents a significant step forward, bringing improvements in performance, security, and maintainability.

 

Add Employee Time Zone Field (PENG-179)

 

A 'Time Zone' field has been added to the Employee Profile in the 'Other Demographics' section. This field supports the following values:

 

  • Anchorage/Alaska Time

  • Chicago/Central Time

  • Denver/Mountain Time

  • Honolulu/Hawaii-Aleutian Time

  • Los Angeles/Pacific Time

  • New York/Eastern Time

  • Phoenix/Mountain Time

  • Puerto Rico/Atlantic Time

 

 

Add Role Type Field to Security Role Screen (PENG-303)

 

In preparation for the launch of PayentryONE, we have added a new 'Role Type' field on the Security Roles > Role screen. This information will also appear as a new column on the Security Roles grid. The field will support the following values:

 

  • Employee User Role

  • Company User Role

  • System User Role

 

Additional information on this field, and how it can be used, will be made available in a future set of NextGen release notes.
