Form: 2026 Federal W-2 Wage and Tax Statement 3-up (M3-3142)
The 2026 Federal W-2 Wage and Tax Statement, 3-up form, has been updated.
Form: Kentucky Local City of Falmouth Annual Return (M3-3244)
A generic form has been added for the annual filing of the Kentucky local City of Falmouth (KY-FAL1) occupational tax effective 07-01-2026.
Form: Kentucky Local City of Falmouth Quarterly Return (M3-3243)
A generic form has been added for the quarterly filing of the Kentucky local City of Falmouth (KY-FAL1) occupational tax effective 07-01-2026.
E-File: Kentucky Hart County (M3-3238)
A new local e-file is now available for Kentucky local Hart County (KYHARTCOUNTYEFILE). The file is generated in CSV format, which must be converted to Excel prior to submission. Instructions for conversion are included in the transmittal notes.
Important Filing Notes:
-
If a company has two checks in a quarter, the amounts should be combined into a single line on the bulk filing spreadsheet.
-
Zero-wage filings are not currently supported by the import process and must be handled manually by Hart County.
-
A warning will display if multiple check numbers are detected for the same Tax ID, listing the company name and associated amounts.
-
Physical checks should be submitted in a single envelope along with a payment spreadsheet. The total on the payment spreadsheet must match the total on the bulk filing spreadsheet and the checks submitted.
Note: The PIDN number is optional and can be entered on the Return Other 1 field on the employer's tax setup. Clients will need to obtain their PIDN from the municipality.
E-File: Keystone LST Transmittal Update (M3-3272)
The Keystone LST (PAKEYSTONELSTEFILE) transmittal has been updated. The Total LST by TCode section has been enhanced to display a per-company breakdown rather than aggregated TCode totals.
Each row now represents a single company/TCode combination and includes the Company ID, TCode, and Amount Withheld. Only companies with the TCode configured in their tax setup are included. Companies with a configured TCode but no withholding for the period will appear with a $0.00 amount. Rows are sorted by TCode, then by Company ID within each TCode.

System: 2026 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC Minimum Change (M3-3250)
The minimum threshold amounts for reporting certain payments on Form 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC have been updated for tax year 2026.
System: Add New Tax Code Update (M3-3197)
When adding a SITW, SUI, or local tax code on the Master Company Setup > Taxes tab, a new screen will now appear after the Other Taxes prompt to allow the user to enter a start date. The start date defaults to the next check date. The end date continues to default to Forever (12-31-2100).
Previously, adding a SUI tax code would incorrectly populate the SUI Tax Rate tab with an overridden rate from the beginning of the year, even when a newer mid-year rate existed. With this update, the user can specify the appropriate start date, ensuring the correct current rate is applied. This is particularly relevant for tax codes with mid-year rate changes, such as NJSUI.
System: SOC Field - Employee Demographics Tab Update (M3-3120)
The SOC (Standard Occupation Code) field on the Employee Demographics tab has been updated from a free-text field to a structured dropdown list. The dropdown is populated with Detailed Occupation SOC Codes and their corresponding TTOC values.
The SOC field now validates against the SSOC table. Employees whose existing SOC exactly matches a valid Detailed Occupation code are unaffected. Employees with a non-matching SOC will display a blank field and require correction.
Common Issues Requiring Correction:
-
Missing dash – e.g., 352010 must be 35-2010
-
Broad Group code used instead of Detailed Occupation code – e.g., 35-2010 (Cooks) must be 35-2014 (Cooks, Restaurant)
Two SQL scripts are available on the SFTP site under the "Tools For Licensees" folder to help identify and correct SOC data issues. It is recommended that the scripts be run in the order listed below.
Step 1 – Identify SOC/SSOC Mismatches
Script: SQL_Identifies_SOC_and_SSOC_miss_matches
Run this query first to get a full picture of all employees whose current SOC value does not match any code in the SSOC reference table. Use this as your baseline audit list.
Step 2 – Fix Formatting (Format Only, Not Validated Against SSOC)
Script: SQL_Identify_and_Update_soc_format
This script identifies SOC codes that are 6 characters long but are missing the required dash (e.g., 352010 → 35-2010). It updates the format for any qualifying record, regardless of whether the formatted code exists in the SSOC table.
Re-run the mismatch query from Step 1 to confirm remaining exceptions. Any employees still showing a mismatch after formatting corrections will require manual review to assign the correct Detailed Occupation SOC Code.
System: New Additional Information Tab Added for Secondary TTOC (M3-3203)
A new "Addl Info" tab has been added to the Employee screen containing a Secondary TTOC field to support employees who require a second Treasury Tipped Occupation Code reported in Box 14b of the 2026 W-2.
When Secondary TTOC Is Required
Leave the field blank unless one of the following situations applies:
-
Employee performs tipped work under two occupations – If an employee performs tipped work under two separate detailed occupation codes (for example, server and bartender), enter the second occupation's TTOC.
-
Employee receives qualifying and non-qualifying tipped income – If an employee receives tips from both a qualifying and non-qualifying occupation, enter 000 as the Secondary TTOC. This Treasury-designated indicator identifies non-qualifying tipped income.
The list of Treasury Tipped Occupation Codes can be found at Occupations that customarily and regularly received tips on or before Dec. 31, 2024 | Internal Revenue Service
System: Service Menu Update (M3-3255)
The Service menu on the Master Company Setup > Services tab has been updated to display in alphabetical order.
