The current release, scheduled for April 2nd at 11:00pm eastern, includes the following changes.

User Email Verification is Required (PENG-270)

 

When signing into NextGen, a user will no longer have the option to skip verifying their email address if they have not done so previously. In addition, if the user’s email address was verified prior to January 1st, 2020, they will need to verify their email address again. Please note that in the future, we will be shifting the minimum email validation date forward. This will stagger the re-verification requirement over several months.

 

This change is in preparation for a future transition where we will use email addresses, not usernames, for user authentication.
