Messages

The Messages section allows you to customize Welcome, Contact, and Employee Pay Notification messages that are sent from My Payentry® to your employees.

To Change Messages:

  1. Select Use Value, the Specify Value section becomes editable.
  2. Type in a new message.
  3. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the section to change settings.

Field Description
Welcome Text:

Text that displays in emails sent from My Payentry® to new users. This text can be used to give users a brief idea of what My Payentry® is, for example.  

Tokens, such as COMPANY, DATE, and EMPLOYEE can be used as well. These tokens are placeholders that will automatically be replaced with new text from My Payentry® when the email is generated.

For example, a token of [EMPLOYEE.FIRSTNAME] will be replaced when the email is generated by the first name of the employee who is receiving the message.

Contact Text:

Text that displays in contact emails sent from My Payentry® to the user. This text can be used to give users the email address of the point of contact for their My Payentry® portal, for example.

Tokens, such as COMPANY, DATE, and EMPLOYEE can be used as well. These tokens are placeholders that will automatically be replaced with new text from My Payentry® when the email is generated.

For example, a token of [EMPLOYEE.FIRSTNAME] will be replaced when the email is generated by the first name of the employee who is receiving the message.

Emp Pay Notifications

Text that displays in the emails sent to employees when their pay stubs become available to view in My Payentry® > Pay History.

 

Tokens, such as COMPANY.CO and COMPANY.NAME can be used as well. These tokens are placeholders that will automatically be replaced with new text from My Payentry® when the email is generated.

For example, a token of [EMPLOYEE.FIRSTNAME] will be replaced when the email is generated by the first name of the employee who is receiving the message.
