Part 1: Block the Role from the Delete Process Tab

To prevent the user from seeing a certain tab (in this case, the Delete Process tab), follow these steps:

  1. Select System > Security > Roles.
  2. Select the role.
  3. Click on the Edit Role tab and scroll down to the System > Operations section:

  1. Click on Delete Process check box so it has an X, as shown in Figure 1 above.

If you were to prevent the role from seeing other tabs, you would select several check boxes.

  1. Press F11 to save your changes (but do not leave the role yet).
