Allow Access to Check Calculator But Deny Saving Checks

To allow a role/user access to the Check Calculator, but not allow the role/user to save the checks, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Rule Setup sub-tab:
  2. Select DENY and EPaycheck from the access and objects drop-down lists, respectively, as shown in Figure 2-80:

  1. Enter a description so that other administrators can understand what the rule does.
  2. Click the Function Rights sub-tab.
  3. Check only the function rights Add/Update/Delete. Do not check the Void Paycheck option.
